Advertising on website didnt match experience July 19, 2017

The sample arrived at your facility on 7/7 at noon, but was not touched until 7/11. Your website advertises 24-48 hrs turn aorunf. I spoke with a manager and was fed excuse after excuse. First, I was told that the sample arrived too late on Friday (noon is too late?) so that Friday wouldnt count. Then I was told that you also dont count the day after the sample comes in (Monday) and that "filters are a 3 day turn around." The website states 24-48 hours.

The first oil analysis contained errors, incorrectly listing that I had steel cylinders. I had to call back in and have them update the results based on the correct cylinder material (Nickel).

At this point I have no confidence in the report since it was issued with errors and the comments were based on those errors. My results were not available for a full 120 hours after receiving the sample. This is far beyond the 24-48 hours advertised.

Oil Filter analysis August 8, 2012
Reviewer: Billy Tidmore from Tallassee, AL United States
The whole process was very easy and I shipped my filter back the day after receiving the package.  Only a few minor problems.  I never received an indication when my sample had been analyzed so finally went on the web site to find it.  This required a customer code, which I had to obtain after trying several different combinations.  After this, the report was visible and complete.
An email with the information would have been helpful.

AvLab Response:   Thank you for your positive feedback.  Although we do always send an email stating that results are ready, this email may not make it to the customer.  For example, the email may be caught by a spam filter; it may be inadvertently deleted by the customer; the email address may have been wrong, or it may have changed.   We are working to improve this process and, to that end, your feedback is critical!  We very much appreciate your comments!
