First time using; the directions are not clear	April 12, 2016

The different parts of the directions are in multiple locations: on a post-it, printed on the box, on a sheet of paper, on a form, so they are not very straightforward and difficult to follow. The box included an oversized sticker with a form that I was not sure where to put, so I stuck it on the sample bottle. Someone needs to re-do these to make them easier to follow. They also don't say how much oil you need to sample. I had to go on website to look at FAQs but they are a bit disorganized. But I'm sure I'll learn from doing it a few times. The supplied sampling tube was so contorted from shipping I could not easily use it to sample oil from the filler tube on my Lycoming.

I made an order on Wednesday evening, paid for 2-day shipping and received the package on Wednesday next week, so it took 7 days (5 business days).

Extra shipping fee was a waste

This kit includes everything needed to collect the sample, either during drain or from the dipstick tube. The sample can go right into the original box (I added some packing to prevent any rattling), slap on the label, and you're good to go.

complete,simple and convenient.

Since I haven't used it yet there is little I can say in way of a review other than my experience so far with AvLab has been very satisfactory. The people are helpful and the shipping was done promptly. I did find the extra call from the lab just to check up on my needs very considerate. You don't get that very often; if ever.

Alvab made it simple, the local oil analysis lab was never open when my schedule allowed for drop off. A lab made it a piece of cake. The post office is on my way home from the airport.
